Veronica Warner MA
After working in the commercial world and holding senior positions in University Relations at Aston University and Public Relations at the University of Bath, Veronica moved into development and fundraising, setting up the Development Office at Christ Church Oxford.
She moved into the University of Oxford’s Development Office and undertook fundraising roles with the Law Faculty and University Libraries, including the Bodleian. Her responsibilities included the stewardship of major donors.
More recently, Veronica has worked in medical settings, revitalising the fundraising campaign for the Oxford Children’s Hospital, where she succeeded in attracting high-level support for this much valued purpose-designed facility for the treatment of children.
She also worked with the then Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust and its Charitable Fund and their partner, Imperial College’s Faculty of Medicine, to raise capital funds for a Centre for Women’s Cancers.
Veronica trained at the Fundraising School, University of Indiana; the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the US and UK; and with Ashridge and Henley Business Schools in the UK. Additionally, Veronica works as a member of the Charity Consultants Ltd network of fundraising consultants.
